A Happy, Healthy and Sweet New Year

This week we will be celebrating the Jewish New Year. We decided that the best way to spread good wishes for the year to come is with a witty, uplifting card! Two weeks ago, we shared a sneak peek of the design - but here you'll get to see the whole thing. A play on the periodic table of elements provides all the things you need for a prosperous year to come.  We wish all our family and friends a Happy, Healthy and Suite New Year!

Our favorite element is Bh (Be Heard). Tell us your favorite or feel free to make up your own- it's your year, after all.

Sneak Peek: Jewish New Year Card

Super excited to share this sneak peek of our Jewish New Year card.

Our first Rosh Hashanah as a married couple means that we get to go all out with our holiday cards, right? RIGHT!

I decided to take my husband’s name after we got married, and went from Loewenberg to Goldberg. Not a huge change - once a Berg, always a Berg is my motto!

I wanted our first holiday card together to be fun, different and clever. A stroke of genius by a fellow Goldberg in a Facebook group (I’ll explain more about that later) inspired this card.

AU Berg, as in Gold on the Periodic Table of Elements, Berg was the basis for this card. It first started out as a small monogram for our family stationery, but then quickly evolved into a chemistry-themed extravaganza.

The typical greeting for the Jewish New Year, Shanah Tovah U Metukah (in Hebrew), literally means A Good and Sweet Year.  We took it one step further, adding in all the elements you need to have a happy, healthy and sweet new year!

We hope you enjoy these initial snapshots, and check back to see the entire suite, full of vintage stamps and electrically charged envelope liners next week!

Custom Stationery with Vintage Floral Liners

We're super excited to share this recent project with you! A client of ours needed a large lot of thank you cards to send out after her 50th birthday party. Her stationery desire: something classic with a vintage feel. To keep it classic, we came up with a beautiful script monogram and printed them on luxe white felt folded cards and paired them with matching European-flap envelopes. For the vintage connection, we lined the envelopes with a variety of antique floral prints. We think this combination is beautiful and timeless!

Love these?
Sets of 25 are just $175; 50 for $250 and 75 for $325.

Super exciting news to share this afternoon! Our dear friend and colleague Nikki Rappaport has just launched her new site: Cupcakes For Breakfast, and we got to help with the design. We had so much fun working with Nikki and talented photographer, Chris Zarconi, on this project. The site looks fabulous, Nikki! Congratulations girl.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Guest Post: Nantucket Inspiration

Hi again, it's Nikki from Cupcakes for Breakfast. I'm headed to my most favorite place, Nantucket Island, for a week-long vacation on Friday and I just can't wait! I visited ACK almost every summer growing up so I have the best childhood memories from the island. Suite Paperie also just shared with me a preview of adorable nautical-inspired stationery for a baby boy and it immediately reminded me of playful summers on Nantucket. Rope bracelets, visits to the Toy Boat toy store to play with wooden boats, lobster lollipops, curling up with mom on a rainy day to read Obadiah and draw sketches of the ocean, collecting sea shells at the beach to make sailor's valentines...these memories are what childhood Nantucket summers are made of. Some of my favorite pieces from this inspiration board include the felted cases for storing colored pencils, hurricane vases for large candles (just in case the power goes out!), and a straw tote that holds everything for trips into town or the beach.

Ok, I'm off to ACK! Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Vintage Book Card

Inspired by Sparkle & Hay's Tuesday Paper DIY, we created this custom card to send to a client for their one year anniversary. We used pages from a vintage 'Casanova' novel to line our Euro-flap envelope and to make custom letter cutouts of the couple's initials (M & M). A perfect paper heart was cut out and placed in the middle of the letters.

We think this unique, custom card will make their anniversary celebration extra special.
