Style Me Pretty Feature and A Giveaway!

Today is a very special day for Suite Paperie.  We have been featured on Style Me Pretty's New York Blog. Even more exciting, is the fact that the feature is about the wedding of Suite Paperie's very own founder, Becca Goldberg. Please bear with us for this extra long blog post, we promise it won't disappoint.

Of course Suite Paperie created all the gorgeous paper goods for the affair including the letterpress invitations, handmade escort cards, gold doily programs, menus and table numbers, but the day would not have been possible without some amazing people.

Barb and Nelson from Hatch Creative Studio, you two are beyond talented and fun to work with. We were blown away with your creativity and outside of the box thinking.

Jean and Tanya of Craig Paulson Photography, you ladies rock! Family portraits were fast and fun (yes, you read right: fun) and we can't seem to find a picture we're not in love with.

Les, Angela and the rest of the Northern Valley Affairs team, you guys can cook! There were nothing but raves about the food, the presentation and the friendly waiters.

Gerry, head of events at the Pearl River Hilton, you are a flawless coordinator. Everything ran smoothly and working with you leading up to the event was a pleasure.

Here are some extra goodies from the wedding.

And now for the GIVEAWAY!

We are giving away a set of 15 custom note cards to one lucky fan.

The cards measure 3.5" x 5" and come with matching European flap envelopes lined in a matching tone or print to the pattern you choose.

Bunny Love: Talia and Jethro

Forget puppy love, bunny love is what's in this season! Jethro and Talia recently got engaged in Washington, D.C. - get this- In a bunny patch! Jethro has been calling Talia 'bunny' for years and with the ultimate romantic gesture, he asked her to marry him and be his bunny forever! She said YES! We're so happy that we got to design a postcard invite for an engagement lunch being held for the couple this coming weekend. A perfect pairing of vintage and modern design, their invitation sparked inspiration for some more bunny-love goodies.Calendar tea towels with rabbit illustrations are a great and practical gift for guests, while a handmade porcelain bunny-head cake topper will certainly be a conversation starter. Printed tags can be tied to raw carrots and used as escort cards, or can be fixed to any favor for a custom favor tag. Silver rabbit cufflinks and brass bunny bracelets are a great gifts for the bridal party. So what are you waiting for? Hop to it and check out these goodies!

A Happy, Healthy and Sweet New Year

This week we will be celebrating the Jewish New Year. We decided that the best way to spread good wishes for the year to come is with a witty, uplifting card! Two weeks ago, we shared a sneak peek of the design - but here you'll get to see the whole thing. A play on the periodic table of elements provides all the things you need for a prosperous year to come.  We wish all our family and friends a Happy, Healthy and Suite New Year!

Our favorite element is Bh (Be Heard). Tell us your favorite or feel free to make up your own- it's your year, after all.

Sneak Peek: Jewish New Year Card

Super excited to share this sneak peek of our Jewish New Year card.

Our first Rosh Hashanah as a married couple means that we get to go all out with our holiday cards, right? RIGHT!

I decided to take my husband’s name after we got married, and went from Loewenberg to Goldberg. Not a huge change - once a Berg, always a Berg is my motto!

I wanted our first holiday card together to be fun, different and clever. A stroke of genius by a fellow Goldberg in a Facebook group (I’ll explain more about that later) inspired this card.

AU Berg, as in Gold on the Periodic Table of Elements, Berg was the basis for this card. It first started out as a small monogram for our family stationery, but then quickly evolved into a chemistry-themed extravaganza.

The typical greeting for the Jewish New Year, Shanah Tovah U Metukah (in Hebrew), literally means A Good and Sweet Year.  We took it one step further, adding in all the elements you need to have a happy, healthy and sweet new year!

We hope you enjoy these initial snapshots, and check back to see the entire suite, full of vintage stamps and electrically charged envelope liners next week!
